Mineral as Music Note

Posters for two works by artist Camila Sposati at the Natural History Museum Vienna (2025): the film Mineral Sound and Mineral as Music Note, a performance during Vienna Art Week. Starting from the museum’s mineral collection, Sposati translated minerals into musical notes based on their origin, colour and atomic composition. The notes became two compositions, performed by drummer Thiago Barata and Volny Hostiou on the serpent, a 16th-century wind instrument.
